This page is a bulletin board to help people wanting to sell their
spots to other people who want to buy a spot. This site only provides
the "technology" to facilitate this transfer and does not
actually participate in the transaction.
Only SELLERS post their names. People waiting to buy a spot should periodically check to see
if anyone has posted a spot they want to sell. Note: while there will be no
sellers most of the time, this will change during the two weeks prior
to the event, so be patient. See the table below which shows the activity for this year and last.
Important Notes to Sellers
- Any merchandise you purchased when you registered will be given to the individual that signs in for your spot. Therefore you must either sell them the merchandise or make arrangements with them to send it to you.
- You need to provide the buyer a with copy of the email confirmation the SLOBC sent you (the active.com confirmations are not useful). Contact us to send you a new copy if you no longer have it.
- Go to Sell, to add your name to the list of sellers.
- Go to Sold, after you sell your spot to remove your name from the list of sellers.
Important Notes to Buyers
- Be sure to get a copy of the confirmation email we sent to the seller.
- The spot will continue to be listed in name of the seller until you complete the transfer here.
- Transfers that occur during the last week before the event may continue to be listed in the name of the original rider, but you'll be able to complete the transfer when you check in.
- Go to Buy, to get a list of people currently selling their spots.
- Go to Transfer, after you buy a spot to complete the transfer to you.
